That late flagrant foul Lamar Odom committed by ramming Ray Allen…good enough for a one-game suspension without pay. Now I’m not an expert on NBA salaries and I assume it’s not as simple as dividing a year’s salary (about 13.5M in Odom’s case) by 82 games with preseason games and other things. So I upped it to 100 and Odom just lost about $135,000 by committing a worthless foul in a blowout game late. Nice.

If you haven’t seen the foul, you can find it on youtube by searching for “odom allen” and watch the ridiculousness. Hopefully this lost money goes to a good cause like the NFL donating suspension money to the pension fund or to support players that got injured.
