Playoff Preview Extravaganza
Sit tight folks - Chris and I have some good plans for our big-time playoff preview show that we’ll be putting together tomorrow (Friday). Look for it tomorrow evening and it should be up and ready for the NBA playoffs to kick off. We’ll spend a bunch of time on the Celtics/Hawks matchup and draw in some guests from the Boston and Atlanta Media. And of course we’ll peruse the other Eastern and exciting Western Conference first round matchups.
In the meantime, let’s go Bruins! And Red Sox cast is up and running - you can reach it by the drop down menu at the top of our page. For those interested in the NBA or NHL playoffs, our network has podcasts for the Spurs (saspurscast.com), Pistons (pistonscast.com), Rangers (nyrangerscast.com) and Devils (devilscast.com).
Cheers

While this is the one/eight series, I can really see the Hawks giving the Celtics a competitive series. No, Atlanta is not going to advance, but I would not be shocked to see these young Hawks steal a game in Beantown and have several by the end of a hard fought series.

Despite this being a typical one/eight series, I can see the Hawks making this match-up a little more tricky than most think. Boston hasn’t had the pressure before of having to get the NBA Finals, and I wouldn’t be shocked to see this young Atlanta squad steal a game in Beantown and have several wins before it bows out in a tough, hard fought series.

Thanks for the thoughts - Atlanta is probably a team that could have been a better seed if they were comprised the way they are now back in October or November. Still, I think the Celtics have the advantage in almost every category and I’ll predict Celtics in 4 (maybe 5).
