Celtics sign PJ Brown

Here’s a name we’ve discussed for months now as being a possible help inside - well he’s finally signed with the Celtics. The official news is here. Brown has been extremely reliable during his 14 year career so far, averaging 76.5 games over those years - he’s also played in 80 playoff games. The scouting report: good interior defender and rebounder, plus he’s 6′11″ (immediately jumping to the point where he can see the top of everybody’s head on the team except KG and Pollard who are also 6′11″).
What this means: I would think no Pollard and probably a bit less of Powe and Davis depending on how Doc is feeling on that particular day. Brown hasn’t played for anybody yet this year so he’ll probably be at least a week away from game time and maybe more.
We’ll have a new show tomorrow to break down the Cavs contest (and Clips too) and talk about this new addition.
Cheers
